when you have met one in person...spend time together...get toknow each other and evrything is wonderful ...you go back home and find out you were not on the dame wave length ..YOu get a broken heart...

There's very few "locals" on CS it seems. Most seem to live great distances. Keep that in mind. It's not like fishing in a bathtub.

Tyhen I guess I should have had a thousand "broken hearts".... I once heard a very wise person say, "you never really know a person until you share a roof with them".. Yes, our feelings get hurt, we are sad, sometimes we get angry, sometimes we say things to taht person we really do not mean.

What we really need to understand, is that we are all on a journey and have no clue as to where that journey may end. Live & Lie Live...........

Go "live" your life, let critisism be damned..

To the questioner:maybe you need to expand your search. I had a LDR and it was great while it lasted. Maybe you aren't looking at older or yonger women. maybe you need to send more flowers and e-mails. A little effort goes a long way....good luck to you!

I didn't do any real searching here, just jumped right into the forums and 10 months later Shelia came along. A year and a half later we became husband and wife. The past 4 months have been great
