If one gives without receiving, they will give out. Trust me, I know, I've done it.

You shouldn't give in order to get something from someone, you should give because you care about them, and they should feel the same. Any relationship that is not reciprocated in some way, cannot last for long.

I'll give to a person in need and if someone asks for it,

but if someone is giving me something, I'll take it.

In some countries and cultures it's rude not to accept gifts.

It is here too, and all these people saying I'm a giver, are either saying it because they think it will make them look good, or delusional, or really sad individuals. Because continually giving without getting anything back is just sad.

I've NEVER considered myself 'delusional'...I have NO interest in trying to make myself appear to be anything other than what I AM...geesh, I must be 'SAD'...

Thinking on this, I've always considered someone that only 'takes' an incredibly selfish individual. In truth, I would much rather GIVE than -ever- to receive...J M O...
