That's what I was talking about. You have to receive as well as give. I guess take is a bad word, that implies taking something without being offered I guess. But think about it, what happens if you give love to someone who doesn't return your love, give back to you? Your love will die, or you will be extremely unhappy. Same way with respect, honor, caring, emotions, communication, everything that you give to others. I know from years of giving, giving, giving, when you stop getting it back, you just give out, there's nothing left inside you to give.

Yep I agree.. that's what happened to me in my marriage.. you just run out of stuff to give when nothing comes back.
