I think more men shy away from women with kids, that the other way around!!..............JMO
I agree
thumbs up

It could be they think you are looking for someone to be a mother to your children.

Same way a man thinks of a woman with kids.

It seem when I mention I have kids that live with me, I loose the freindship. What am I doing wrong?
I had my daughter with me until last year, and didn't run into that problem, but because I had her living with me I was a lot more cautious about who I was willing to talk to, and I had real issues about anyone coming over. This put women off, not the fact that I had kids. It's natural to want to protect your children, well i most people anyway, and I think this can cause you to be a little overly cautious.
I know this is a run onD'oh! Just be patient when you least expect it the perfect someone will pop up

What about the minefield regarding the Mother of the children if the relationship is acrimoniousdunno I certainly would have no desire to be involved in a relationship where the kids play each adult off one anotheruh oh!

Depends on how old the kids are. My "baby" is 18. Have done the whole thing and not really into doing it again. If they are like 13 and up that is better. But if I met someone who does have younger ones and it worked out then wouldn't be an issue.

I think it is awesome that you have your kids!!!! I have a son myself and you know guys do the same thing too, so it ain't just you...I have had guys interested and then once they spend more time with me then I introduce them to my son and the next thing I know the guy is never heard from again. Just hang in there it isn't you or your kids its the ladies and in my case the guys. The right person will be there

k this seems to be beat to death......but here's my 2 cents

you've met the wrong women......plenty of women would rather be with a man who already has kids

i myself prefer a man who has kids and is done with havin babies.....let's get em grown and go bout our fun grin devil

Your not doing anything wrong. I respect a man that has his kids. If the women your talking to cannot except that then you don't need them. Most of us have kids and thats part of the package !!!!
