i wish that were true... but not always im afraid. some of us go the extra mile and get hurt anyway. the sad thing is... to be told you are everything someone ever wanted in life, then trust them and work towards building that life together... then a few years later, it's, "sorry, i dont love you anymore", just one day out of the blue with no warning and no clue, well... you dont always get out what you put in :(.
still though... ive not become bitter, and i know someday i will find the one i was meant to be with. you sound very bitter Solidtartan, but one day... maybe someone will cause you to have a change of heart? i hope so

I can understand what you mean.
But I think, if a somebody tells you, that she don´t love you anymore , something was wrong in the relationship before telling you this. Something had happened or not. I don´t believe, that some one from one day to the other said something without a matter.
And mostly when things go wrong in a relationship have both partners fault.
Like such little things, that one will talk and the other would not. Or that both have chanced their attitude. Its maybe other as at the beginning of the relationship.
