as usual, I tend to vote for what I feel is the lessor of the two evils. I seldom vote for someone I really like!! The ones I like...choose not to run!

I was conned here on CS.

About 10 months ago a woman befriended me. She would write alot of poetry here and post it in the threads. She was severely disabled and I really loved reading her poetry.

We would e-mail each other asking how we were doing...she was very convincing. She was on here for about 3 months until she was found out. Everyone in CS loved her. We even had one of those" CS contests"...who is the hottest, king and queen, and this girl won the friendliest!

She e-mailed me one day saying she wouldn't be seeing me anymore. Her internet service bill was overdue and she was going to shut it down if she didn't receive $93. I sent her $130 (including $12 express mail...laugh ) so she could keep her service and have some extra. She enjoyed herself so much here on CS and everyone, including myself really liked her.

I found out a couple of days later, she asked alot of people for money for various things! She was definitely a scammer and was kicked off CS.

I hope CS mods will not mind me posting this story. I laugh about it now, and hope people will learn from it. No names were used, so I hope the mods will understand.

A man owed my father for furniture $300.00. My father tried to collect it but was having a hard time catching up with the man. So my father just waited.
The man after about two years came to my father asking to borrow $500.00 to buy a truck, if he paid the three hundred he owed on furniture.
My father said that he would if the truck was good for the loan. So he, my father and I went to see the truck. My father liked the truck, bragged on it and told the man he would loan him the money for the truck.
My father got his ticket book and gave the receipt for three hundred to the man after he paid his old $300.00 furniture bill.
My father continued to brag on the truck and looking at it. The man then asked my father when he was going to give him the $500.00 for the truck.
My father said, "I'm not going to loan you any money for that truck." and started up our truck to go back to the store. The man said, "Mr ----------------, You lied!
My father said,"You lied to get the $300.00 worth of furniture and I lied to get the money back....What's the big deal!."

I tagged along for moral support!rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing
