It seems that there are many sad people on the forums of late. A lot of hurt feelings. But it seems around this time of year our expectations to be happy become to much for ourselves and we end up being the opposite and sad. So any one who is feeling sad and alone i hope Christmas passes quickly for you and the new year brings a brighter future. reindeer waving santa snowman

I've been wondering about the same thing, and I think you may be onto something here...

Life can be hard at any time around this time it allways seems worst. When every one is talking about being with their family/friends. If you alone it kind of rubs salt in the wound

Christmas is a time to rejoice. It's CHRIST...MAS,CHRIST'S birthday.CHRISTMAS is not about me,it's about celebrating CHRIST'S birthday. With all the commercialism,I THINK PEOPLE FORGET the true meaning of Christmas.Sure,I feel bad for all the people who are alone at Christmas, but I WONDER sometimes how Jesus must feel...SINCE IT IS HIS BIRTHDAY.Millions of people get all stressed and buy gifts, open gifts, and celebrate at their homes....and everybody forgets Jesus.

It's sort of like it being your birthday and on your birthday, everybody is opening gifts, there's none for you,and nobody even thinks about you as you're looking in from outside the window.

How would you feel?

MERRY CHRISTMAS.....LET'S GET BACK TO THE REAL DEAL.

Well all want the Norman Rockwell postcard. All the imagery in the media tells us how happy we're supposed to be. Happy, happy, joy, joy. It's a wonderful life. Pass me another teddy bear please.

Of course, it's not the reality for all. The best thing, for me, is to try very hard to "get out of myself," if you will. I have much to be grateful for. Keeping the focus on what Christmas truly represents helps.

Man, that sounds pretty good. I wish we had a Tim Horton's around here. I bet Starbucks would charge $20 for something like that, and an extra $1.50 for the butter.

Winter months is a hard time of year for many

....are bodies lack carotenes, and are B12 tends to become lower,in some cases causing S.A.D,the lack of light causes for weight gain,a craving of carbrohidtrades, lack of sleep, depression are those most common.

Add this with the holiday, and for many missing what once was and it can make for a sad time of year.

A little push can sometimes take us far, that and a good frame of mind.

Expectations tend to be high therefore causing many to be disapointed.

For me,just sharing a meal with a few of the ones I love is far more then I could ask for.

Season's Greetings to all......
