Yeah, what do scientists know, anyway?

I'm always wary of agenda-type research, which is what much of the anti-climate change stuff is. I mean, Bjorn Lomborg has made quite a career out of pandering to anti-enviroment, pro-business conservatives.

I hear what the scientists are saying and accept the idea that climatic changes are occurring but cannot accept what they say is the reason for those changes.

And I am not going to explain why I hold such views on a forum like this on a dating website.

Moreover, species come and species go. And I see no reason to believe that humanity is or should be an exception to this observation of mine.

And if we do "go".......then the true environmentalist will be pleased, then the earth can be "safe" once again rolling on the floor laughing

Well said...in fact the irony is that if this planet really wants to get rid of "us"...it will surely find a way...greenhouse gases or otherwise...

I do think we impact the environment...but not to the degree enviro-wackos believe. I think it's rather grandious to think we have that much impact.

I think it's normal for people to fear the unknown, and most people hate or fear change. The planet has never been and will never be stable for any great length of time.

I think this whole global warming thing is a crock of crap. It's typical of so many agendas today. If they don't get the numbers they want they fudge the facts to make it look like the world is coming to an end.

Take ethanol for example, it is about 30% less efficient as gasoline yet it is being portrayed as the savior. And that isn't even considering the carbon foot print of growing and refining the stuff. Now what consumer is going to pay more for their fuel and get 30% less in fuel milage? Makes perfect sense to me, DUH!

I guess the energy crisis of the 70's didn't work as planned, so with this GW plan they are telling you that you are going die. Sounds like just another ploy to get people's hard earned money to me.

Think they are calling it a "carbon" tax. Funny thing is, the wealthiest nations are going to get hit the hardest, even though they aren't the worst offenders.

Lmao. Yeah it seems that you can pollute all you want if you buy the carbon credits. It's ok the earth said so. Man are we stupid! How f__KING stupid do they think the masses are? It's all the poors fault, if it weren't for them going to work to make the rich richer we wouldn't be in this position.

Imagine them finding tree stumps under melted glaciers, DUH! That means that a tree grew there once, long before global warning was around. The melting ice flooding the planet is another one, dumb asses ice occupies more space than water. If anything sea levels should drop. My glass doesn't over flow when the ice in it melts.

What's wrong with the countries that can actually afford it to get "hit the hardest"?

I'm sure the poorer countries have enough other struggles...dunno

Since Norway exports a lot of oil...I vote they quit pumping it...hence, no carbon will get into the environment grin
