U.S. People-What Party Do You Belong To?

I was just curious. I can't believe the hypocracy of the two leading parties. I was just wondering if people are tending to break away association with them.

They better do if they want change for the better, but are the US citizens mature enough to do so, is another question.

Obviously not, so no change there i'm afraid, only the looming economic crash will probably wake them up in a few months from now, it would be too late...............sad stories of ends of Empires, but still necessary for renewal I dear say.

I would certainly hope people are getting tired of the government circus. They are supposed to represent the people, not represent their lobbyists. Greed and corruption seems to be the trend. I think our chidren are going to have to grow up fast.

Lobbying is to any logical mind the most dangerous form of corruption, intersts groups having huge influence by financing poloticians, and it is legal, and doesn't seem to bother anyone.
To me it sounds just like with any first signs of past declining empires before.

You're excused, but Bush is just one symptom, and certainly not the cause of todays problems, the problem is your democracy nevr really worked, and would never work on todays bases, the system is infested by corruption for decades, and Bush (unknowingly) could be thanked fro bringing it to an end in the near future.cheers

Could you explain how our democracy never really worked or will work? Just curious about your reasoning.

I'll be the first to say that our democracy has been undermined by people who abuse their power. You could say that about any form of government anywhere.

To be truthful... I was a Democrat but I have lost faith with them and I don't think they represent what I totally beleive in. It is all a pissing contest between the two parties. They seem to be bought out by the interests that throw money their way. LOL..the American dream to them is having more money and power than all the rest. I see both parties in this day and age more interested in falsely appealing to certain groups than representing the people. As far as Immigration..the Dems have lost me.
