This reminds me of a story.

Husband....''Why do you keep talking about my past mistakes?I thought you had forgiven and forgotten.''

Wife...''I have indeed forgiven and forgotten. But I want to make sure you don't forget that I have forgiven and forgotten.''

LOVE keeps no records of wrong.laugh

How long do you hold a grudge? How often do you think about a conflict and accuse your self? Do you try to smooth things over?

just curious
about an hour or two then i let it go. life's too short. besides when you hold a grudge with someone it is a form of letting that person have control over you.
it takes too much energy to hate or hold a grudge, forgiving always makes you feel better.

I have to be terribly annoyed to hold a grudge.. usually i dont ..people have to try very hard !!

Yes.. i resolve conflicts with people close to me by even saying sorry first cos i cannot see them sad or gone ..

Generally otherwise, i am level headed so stay out of issues easily.

I try to smooth it over...
Have noticed sometimes others won't allow that to happen.
Not sure I understand why. But oh well, my only concern
is my intentions and actions. confused conversing

I never accuse myself of any conflict, my mind is too small and too weakrolling on the floor laughing confused Why would I try to smooth things over? I have no clue as to what is wrong....my mind, too small, too weak....rolling on the floor laughing

No seriously, I think that grudges take a whole lot more effort than just living and learning. Tried to smooth a problem over this year, to no avail, so fcuk it, don't care wine
