Yup, if we cut down all the forests, we won't have forest fires, right?

I like a real Christmas tree for the smell but not so much for the drying needles as you step on them with socks on and the frigging little green needles stick into your frigging toes and you can't find the fucking little things and you take another step and they find you. Humbug!! No tree for me.
Absolutely not, no cutting creates HUGE forest fires. We had one here 5 years ago, thousands of acres and hundreds of homes and several lives lost.

here here...thumbs up
Not only where thousand of acres lost... so was a thousand acres of trees, that if had been enviromentally concious management was incited the fire would have been a lot less loss...

and all the wood that was lost could have been used for so many things...

forestry is a renewable sourch if tended to properly...thumbs up

I understand this, it is one of my business' that benefit from it.

also without being too much on the soap box...

i should feel as to point out that fake trees are made from a petroleum base ...Not a renewable source and also creates gasses know to be damaging to the ozone plus eventually they end up in the landfills
or someone releases even more toxic gasses burning them...
Just a thought... not a judgement.grin JMO
