I didn't even know I had a profile...

I think I need to update it

I don't really take too much notice of the profiles to be honest. I do get lost in the really long ones though (the ones that are longer than "War & Peace")

I've even managed to in the middle of a couple of those ones.

...As for my own profile. I get bored of it and often change it around. But, even then it seems to say the same thing just in a more jumbled fashion

Think I will make it my "new years" resolution to get myself an all new exciting and all new sexciting profile

I think it's better to get to know people through their mailbox if you're interested. It's hard not to generalize if you read one little thing that you disagree with.

I think you are right, Jan, yes. There are some that clearly haven't been given much thought. Of course, mine will, no doubt, need improvement here and there but a profile should always be a "works in progress"..... the clue is that if one ever thinks that's it, it's all done and dusted, chances are there improvements that need making.

A key could be that one looks at their CV, which will, of course, contain much positivity and portray the owner of that CV in the most favourable light.......?? Its very much a similar thing.

Originality, humour and honesty is what most of us want to read, do you agree?

I don't put any faith in profiles...Getting to know the real person is what matters...Some people are good writers...some aren't...some are bullshitters...some aren't...So the last thing that would attract me is a profile....
