I'm sorry to hear that you got bit by the asshole bug mindful, unfortunately thats the price we have to pay sometimes when we wear our hearts on our sleeves and invite someone in to share those lifes. Its just a shame this one turned out to be an asshole. But its commendable that at least your trying and taking the risk in meeting people, and don't give up on trying cause there's bound to be the right one out there for you somewhere.
As far as your children are concerned I'm sure all there care about is that your safe and happy, tell them the truth that this guy was a b*stard and your well rid of him they'll understand that.
Good luck and to all a very Merry Christmas.christmas happy christmas happy gift

Glad you are okay mindfful. Forgive him for being a nitwit and let it go.

We are all here to take risks (as safely as possible) and if we run into a dud or a weirdo, well it will be like that sometimes.

can we never ever trust?
i mean gosh!
hmmm trust or not to trust? That is the question. Not.

I too met some one, but did not trust. Not there yet, but I am never let down, and no one knows and no one can judge.

Sorry things didn't work out though. comfort

Call in a lesson learned and move on. Next time someone wants to visit - get them a hotel room in town. If that's not good enough for them - too bad.
