...and I am prepared to be put right here, but there seems to be quite an extensive network going on behind the scenes amongst the women of CS.

Now, I'm not saying ALL...but many.

And this is in no way a criticism...absolutely not!

Because it seems to me that, besides the womans natural instincts to socialise and develop friendships amongst those of her on sex, unlike us males, it has to do with protection also.

Protection from unscrupulous men/players.

Is this so? Right lines perhaps?

And once again, this is in no way a criticism in any way. If my thoughts are correct, it makes complete sense to do what you're doing, and decent men have nothing to fear!wine

No, men don't, in general, do this.

Man is a solitary being...a social hermit/troglodyte you could almost say when it comes to this sort of thing!

Plus, I've NEVER come across or heard, first hand, of a female player.

Hmm.. been here for a very short while so havent noticed this much.

But, we gossip goes without saying. Actually, even men do.

I would definitely protect my friends if i knew something mean about the guy . Well, if i knew a woman of obvious mean intentions would make an attempt to warn if i knew the guy and if i think he wouldnt get me wrong.

Am open to the idea but guarded about informing a guy though.

In my younger years I thought that "women sticking together" was rhetoric, in my view. But these days, being on the forums and witnessing some ugly bashing by male members I see the need to if not , stick together parse, at least be available and comfort.

You are fortunate to have not come across a player of the female species. They do exist.

Now i'm not saying whether your theory is right or wrong Detente...it may have crossed my mind HOW you came up with the theory though...

However..my 2 cents...."IF" such a "network" is going on behind the scenes...it stands to reason if the men that are currently "involved" with someone on here, and not messaging other women on the sly...they would have nothing to worry about...right??dunno grin
