this Christmas eve.

...waiting upon my eldest son and his wife to arrive with my grandson,a tea-cup terrior...lol

...for the dough to rise for cinnamon rolls for break before breakfeast with Irish cream and coffee

...for the time to be right that I put the snacks in the oven and cut up all the trimmings to go with it

...to marinate and stuff the turkey for Christmas day


...trying as best I might to thin of all things I have,as apposed to what I have lost,for my mother is playing a major part of my persona this evening...but she is with me in spirt for sure.

just got back from finding a store that was actually open so my son could leave rootbeer for santa and carrots for his reindeer!! we finally found one 7 stores and an hour later!!!!:

I'm waiting for my kids to come home, they are on the town here in Spain and don't speak a word of Spanish but they're fine, I've phoned them! I went out for a few drinks with my friends this afternoon and didn't want to accompany them, though they did invite their old mum!

Mum and step-dad are sleeping, she's prepared everything for tomorrow and wouldn't let me help at all. I think it brings back memories of when me and my siblings were young so she enjoyed it, and I let her get on with it with a couple of spurned offers of help.
