I know I have said it before but..... faint heart never won fair maiden, Paws!! And I know its easier said than done but online, if you don't get the response you were hoping for, at least you don't have to face that person on a regular basis, eh? That surely would help towards a wee bit more bravery than otherwise?

I've done it...I usually tell myself that it's because the person wasn't really right for me and so I didn't engage in the relationship or try to develop its potential...and, perhaps this has been the case. On the other hand, perhaps I built a wall so as not to get hurt; sort of a pre-emptive strike. Hmmmm...I don't really know whether I've stopped good relationships from evolving or if I have called it quits on what I knew was not going to be what I wanted. I can only assume that I've done both.
