I haven't had and really really good friends since I left San Diego back in '93, and the friends that I thought would always be there have drifted further & further away. There's maybe 2 that I'm still in contact with. Any female I've met since leaving San Diego has fallen more into the acquaintance category, because they haven't been someone I hang out with, or go shopping with, or talk with on the phone alot. I think part of that is because they've been married while I got divorced, kinda made the friendship a little strange if they knew my ex. There's a couple gals that I used to work with in Antioch that I still email...but even now I don't have a friend to hang with....just my mom. But I'm still in the same situation, any women I know are married & I'm not...makes it kinda hard when I have free time & they don't. Oh well.

Let's face it, Heart-Lease. Life can be downright tough and griity in Northern CA. Seriously, hang in there, gf.

lol..it can be that way anywhere!! The friends that I had in San Diego don't even live there anymore... two are in Arizona, one's in Oregon, and there's one in Oklahoma who was my friend in high school from Hawaii, and then there's my pen pal from high school who lives maybe 1 1/2 hours from me...I've always gone to see her, she needs to come see me...lol

That sorta happened to me when I moved, all the girls I used to do things are in my hometown and after moving just isnt the same. I met a couple new friends since my move that I got along great with, but ended up weeding them out pretty thin. Having one great friend, is worth having 10 good ones....Keep the positive outlook, you never know whats around the corner...
