In a superlative sense energy is, just is; we are not talking potential energy or force. Energy is to mass like electricity to a wire; they continue to exist independently and translate into visible results to us when put together.

I have a theory on this also Al...there's just too much we don't know and are yet to discover and explain.

Too many anomalies exist surrounding this whole fascinating subject.

Energy is not as 'stable' and indentifiable as we believe it to be.
