What is Life?

Life is the energy of the breath of God blown into bodies drawn forth from the dust and the journey it strives to drive its puppet along as it seeks its origin. Never moving ahead but always for its inception to return to completeness.
Our physical beings are nothing more than vehicles that attempt to facilitate this journey even though the true depth of it occurs neither here nor there it is all inside and we just react to the sybolism we cannot perceive nor fathom.
Better?grin

I will never ever forget what a great German genius once said:

‘Life is a useless episode disturbing the blissful repose of nothingness.’

Beware of the pitfall of a metaphysical explanation. Energy is energy. If you say ‘all life is energy’ a quick disproof of that is to invert the assertion: 'all energy is life'. Nope, all energy is not life.

If all life is energy then all energy must be Life.

Nope. ’fraid not.
Inverting an assertion is no proof whatever.

for example ,

all homosexuals are men does not prove the inverse
all men are homeosexuals
however the first assumption is patently true

Al caps my man caps!!grin
I never proposed the idea of the breath of a god, I advanced the ideal of the breath of God represented as the Holy Spirit which lends its energy to all on this journey. You too my friend...

Life is energy? No, no, no, no, no. Energy is energy. Energy is necessary FOR life. But what is LIFE?

Life is not necessary for energy, but energy IS necessary for life.

Therefore energy is something separate from life. Answer the question: what is energy?

And here in both cases beware of the pitfall of a metaphysical explanation.
nah - I disagree Ray - you cannot possibly say that energy is seperate from life or that life is not necessary for energy - we must have some kind or short circuit on meaning here laugh
