I have just had to sit on mine there to get it shut... and all I wore over the Xmas was a handful of tops and a couple of pairs of jeans confused

When Im preparing to pack I lay out all the things I want to take. Then take half.I always have enough. If I really havn't catered for a particular occasion, well I dont need too many excuses to shop.wave

I really need to learn.. the reason I pack too much always is cause I am always packing in a rush.... so I just pack everything to obviate the need for thinking... my Xmas was also ALOT quieter than I thought it would be blues laugh wave

im at expert at packing light

im off for a 3 week holiday next week, and as im staying with family, there will be laundrey facilities on hand

i will be able to fit all i need into one suitcase

i never take toiletries, or sun tan lotion or stuff like that, i usually get that when i get to my destination, and leave all that behind when im off home again

i take a nice selection of going out clothes, but stuff for the beach, and hanging around the apartment/hotel, i take my old stuff [stuff thats ok to wear, but i dont really want anymore,] and i leave that behind as well

same with my kids ..... kids are growing all the time and need new outfits, so instead of buying new holiday clothes, i save the money and buy the clothes while im on holiday, so we have a fun shopping day, and find things we wouldnt find at the stores back home

and i take old t faded t shirts and shorts for them for the beach, and leave them behind at the end of the holiday

same as towels ......... they take up so much room in a case ..... and are so cheap to buy, i usually take 2 old ones, and buy a few when im holidaying

all in all ........ the stuff ive left behind, leaves room for the new stuff i aquired

I pack very little. It is what I buy after I arrive that fills up my suitcase.

I travel a fair amount for work, but am guilty of not packing light. Part of this is pragmatic - if we're shooting a commercial, the weather conditions and temp vary greatly - and I hate not having the right gear.

I'm actually buying a larger suitcase for my trip to Detroit in a few weeks. Cold weather stuff takes up a lot of space. cool

Oh I'm bad.. I either pack waaay too much.. or the other extreme.. I pack undies, face cream. tooth brush. (and check in an empty suitcase lol)

Then buy everything else while im there..

THEN I have to buy ANOTHER suitcase.. because I'm coming back with enough stuff to now fill TWO big cases AND a big carry on.

I get fined at the airports OFTEN frustrated

Often? Okay.. blushing everytime.
