every year millions of animals suffer and die in painful
tests to determine da safety of cosmetics.substances such as an eye
shadow and soap r tested on rabbits, rats, dogs, and
other animals despite da fact that da test results dont help
prevent or treat human illness or injury.
what do u think ?

hi bobiwave well i believe that animal testing should be banned, how would a human being feel like to be tested on. there must be other alternatives.

if you buy anything with a leaping bunny logo........ thats assurity its not been tested on animals, well in europe it is, i dont know about anywhere else

and i think the europe parliament is outlawing testing of cosmetics on animals by 2009

revlon, one of the biggest cosmetic industries, who were previously guilty of this ........ now maintain they have stopped animal testing

cells can be grown in a tube ....... theres really no need to keep testing on animals

eye make up is tested on rabbits ........ but why?? rabbits dont even have tear ducts

It is a horrible thing.

Rather, I'd like to see them tested on Newport Beach Barbies. It could be fun to watch. Maybe FOX could make a TV show out of it or something...smoking

Using animal for testing cosmetics was banned in the UK about eight years ago and the EU has agreed to a total ban which should be implemented by 2009.

The biggest cosmetic company L'Oreal stopped testing on animals way back in the eighties so I cannot understand why other companies haven't followed suit.
