I've tried for the last 2 New Years to give up I stopped in January for 4 months then the pressure of work got to me...I got a bottle of wine and a pack of 10 ciggies...

The good thing is I no longer smoke at work, just ona social basis now...but really do wanna kick the habit...

I'm with ya!!! cheering cheering

I had quit for 4 months last year, but when I went to see my friends in Athboy (Co. Meathe) last April, they all smoked, and I was being social, of course, started back up again. I almost quit when I got back to the states, was down to 4 a day, but then the inevitable happened.blues

I'm shooting for January 15th as my day to quit. I'm getting some help from Chantix though. I've heard a lot of good things about it...and some bad things, but the good things seem to outweigh the negative.

Still, I love smoking, but I'm more worried about health issues. This winter has been hard on my lungs along w/the smoking.

Downside, the cig tax I was paying won't go into the fund for unisured children. Sorry about their luck, I guess. dunno
