Its a new year, and with it comes many things to be grateful for and many fresh starts.

Its been a year that by far as seemed more then its 365 days.

I have lost a few dear and near to my heart...May you all R.I.P

I have lost many "things"...good thing they can all be replaced.

...but through it all I have managed to hang on,even if at certain times only by a string,to my peace of mind, and for this I am GRATEFUL.

Cheers to better days ahead and good lite to all......:)

A grateful heart and attitude can definitely get as through many hardships - Attitude is everything!

So may be all make the best of what we have been given and remember that we are lucky to still be here to enjoy it; while many others have left or will never experience even the slightest hint of what we have been blessed with.

God says that He doesn't give us more than what we can handle in the way of turmoil - and I believe its true that strength/courage is honed in those times of adversity.
This is really nicely said - and echoes my own sentiments. Gratitude can get you through much.

I had a follow-up appointment with the doctor yesterday afternoon. This was almost exactly one month after, or, just before the holidays. He said something I took to heart - "you sure look and sound better than the last time I saw you." I pondered this on the way home.

I think there was a huge sigh of relief in that the holidays were over - this was a tough one. That, or in this New Year, I am trying to embrace everything that is right with this life. Either way, gratitude works.

I watched the movie "The Bucket List" last night,a great movie I might add.

...and although I never have called it a bucket list I like to think that I have a list of things do do,that being in the here and now and not having to worry about regret, regret and I have nothing in comon and don't get on all that well...lol

So in saying as much I woke feeling fresh and grateful that I woke and that today i can fill one of my "to do's"

...ain't life grand....:)

A bit of a banter
...after taking a leave to care for my mother
and then lossing her in October
...I experienced many emotions
some in which I had not touched in a very long time
...and not always were my copying skill up to parr.
Am in a new part of town
...not knowing a soul
and having to do some real soul searching
...in order to stay focused and not loss touch with all that I have
AND I am finding solace in things that have been put on the back burner
...me
music,writting and recording,
...family,those that matter that is
myself, the biggest refection of all that should be
...and not always is it easy
BUT is always worth it
...in which case
I am gratful for all that I have and simple things that make life so GRAND

...thanks for your ear....:)

actually i've had some similar experiences this past year and indeed we do have more to be grateful for because we now know how very fleeting and precious loved ones are in our lives.

i'm so glad to hear it's inspired you to get back to your art. therapy and beauty in action.

stay in gratitude it's a fine place to be.
