My new years goal, was to cut down on overtime. Was looking for a good excuse to quit. Course, raising the tax here 1.15, per pack, has made it a very easy choice.

Just think of a pack of smokes as another ex.... neither one is worth five dollars!

I want to thank you fallingman, your encouragement is so awesome...its nice that your standing so strong behind us.

As honestly as I can be, so far today it sucks. yes i know its my negative mind set that causing me the problems. I was gonna come here and say all is great, but then I would only be lying to myself. And im trying to be accountable... I've have had 2 set backs, but for the time being im ok. I knew it wouldnt be easy, just didnt know it would be this hard.....my support is system is awesome..at least til i drive him crazy...sticking out tongue hug

with that said..everyone keep hanging in there and trying. Im not above failing and picking myself up and trying again. Its not the amount of times I fall, but the times I get up that count. And it really really sucks to admit that I messed up!!!!

I think you've set yourself a very difficult task, trying to lose weight and giving up smoking at the same time would be impossible for most people.
