I know about telepathy, but I think if you are close enough to someone, you can develop synchronocity... me and my sister for example sometimes say the same things at the same time, and can finish each others sentences.. it happened a few times over Christmas and it was hilarious.. in answer to a couple of questions we both gave the exact same answers.. word for word, timing everything. rolling on the floor laughing laugh

I watched a documentary years ago while living in British Columbia. It was filmed on Vancouver Island where they took two sibling starfish and separated them by hundreds of miles. They then subjected the starfish to different aggressive stimuli individually and noted that while one was being subjected to the stimuli it would show a reaction an in a very minute time span, the other would react similiarly...

Extraordinary isn't it... in a reality TV show here called 'Big Brother' there were two 'twins' taking part in the show and they did a synchronocity test on them (have to keep an open mind cause reality show) and asked them a variety of questions and subjected them to a number of tests... Its remarkable how close there answers were.. btw.. both were subjected to the tests at the same time... kinda freaky and kinda cute grin

Aries I have 2 cousins who are twins and also they used to be inseperable and when one was in hospital the other could feel her pain and he missed her. It was during their leaving cert year as well but they both did great in their exams.

I am a twin aswell and although my brother and I dont share the same kind of synchronocity as me and my sister.. when he was very ill in hospital one time.. everyone was really anxious.. but I felt a very strong sense that he would be ok.. like I knew.. could be nothing.. but was a bit strange...

Cute story about ur cousins.. my ex's brothers are twins and they are tied at the hip aswell are always together.. can be a special thing...smile

Well my cousins used to be close to the hip and you could really see this when their mother passed away. Since one of them got married they are not as close to the hip anymore.

a few years ago ..... my youngest daughter , who was 6 at the time, and was named after my grandma ...said to me

nana says goodbye

i said what do you mean [nana lived a long way away and we had not talked on the phone that week]

my daughter said ........ she said goodbye and she said she is happy

i said...... but youve not talked to nana in nearly a week

she said .........nana told me in my head and she made my leg tingle

i didnt think any more of it

2 hours later my mum called me to tell me my grandma had died

she died from a blood clot in her leg moving to her heart

its hocus pocus rolling on the floor laughing... I had one of santa's elves hide in your closet and watch you choose that pentagram ... although I'm not sure how he got into your thoughts and knew you'd chosen the pentagram instead of some weird pencil or the knick knacks from abroad or any of the other millions of images you could have been thinking about.... they are impish little creatures you know.. rolling on the floor laughing I just don't know how they do it ...grin

personally, if it was me I would have been lost in the latex oufits and stayed in the closet. rolling on the floor laughing

peace

Chris Angel, and Gellar are coming out with a reality show where they are going to put the World's psychic minds to a test. It should be great, because if a person were to fake it those to guys would certainly be able to spot it.

I agree about synchronicity. I think when you are in a relationship with someone for a while too, you end up thinking the same and finish each other's sentences. I don't know about telepathy though. I always say you don't have to be telepathic to do my job but it certainly would help!dancing banana

yeah.....that's what we call ''abhingna'' in pali.

ABBHIGNA = The six ''HIGHER POWERS'', or SUPERNORMAL KNOWLEDGES, consist of five mundane ( lokiya) powers attainable through the utmost perfection in mental concerntration ( samadhi ) and one supermundane (lokuttara) power attainable through penetrating insight ( vipassana), extiction of all cankers (asawakkhaya), in other words, realisation of ARAHATHSHIP or HOLINESS.
They are;
1) magical powers (irdhi-vidhya)
2) divine ear (dibba sotha)
3) penetration of the minds of others (chetho pariya gnana/ para chiththa vijana gnana)
4) rememberence of former existences ( pubbe-niwasanussathi)
5) divine eye (dibba chakku)
6) extiction of all cankers ( asawakkhaya gnana)angel

according to the HINDU VEDA one can gain all these '''super powers ''only by awaking his/her ''KUNDALINI POWER'' which everyone has in their body, EXCEPT THE ''extinction of all cankers (asawakkhaya)

that is the main difference of HINDUISM and BUDDHISM.conversing cheers
