Who is "they"? The Texans for executing a double murderer or the Muslims, who will surely see the slayed as a martyr?

I just see as one less problem....to be honest. Like someone said earlier, if he's that fervent in his belief system, what would he do if someone else offended his religion?

Don't you really think we're just seeing the beginning of these types of murders? There's probably many we don't hear about in Arab countries....that get swept under the rug.

If anyone else killed their children, regardless of beliefs, I don't mind seeing them assume room temperature.

When I worked at the convience store my boss was always upset at his youngest daughter as he believed she did not show him respect that she was too much into the Canadian way. When she would phone for him she would ask for him by name, he said that was not acceptable. He did not talk to her for months for talking back to her older sister.

I don't think the death penalty is justifiable in every situation....but when it's cold and calculating, and the person isn't mentally ill.... I believe it can be justified. It shouldn't be an everyday event....but there are some murders that are so cold blooded that I find it acceptable. Religion shouldn't be a pass for this "fellow".... he probably knows the laws of Texas. I'd say his ass is grass, and Texas owns the lawn mower.

I am glad it is not up to me to decide whether a man lives or dies. I don't think it should be up to me. I truly don't believe in an eye for an eye, and that violence begets violence but what do you do with people who are murderous?

You surely can't "reform" them. I don't think we should provide for them ie: 3 hots and a cot. So what do you do?

It is terrible and if they want their children to grow up according to their culture and laws then they should stay in those countries...Not to sound predjudice...BUT blaming their children for following western ways is a bit hypocritical when you have chosen to live in the west!!!!!

They want the west has to offer as far as freedom etc., yet kill children who are behaving in the manner of a country which they have chosen to reside in!!!!!!!
