The one is made by a story...don't you think?

lets give examples...how many times you thought a girl was very good in bed she ended up being so, how many times you had fantasies, none were proved sustainable?
How many times you (i) had beautiful stories on the internet for a while and you (i) thought he was the perfect one?

So, answering to this thread and the other linked to this one, unfortunately you never really know if the person is THE ONE if you don't try. That's why i defend that we should stop looking for that superlative love because what makes it superlative needs your work as well!
You gotta have same principles, laugh, enjoying being together(chatting, talking), that is possible to feel towards a few.If you do feel comfortable with that one, what perfection are you looking for then?

Any love given from the truest of hearts is superlative...perfect, exquisite.wine

To me there are no boundaries or a specific order in which to experience things; logic, emotion, gut feeling they are all my friends and they get along fairly well ususally. When something feels right it feels right, and there is balance and inner peace, freedom. wine

To have balance between head, heart and gut must truly be a wonderful experience.

I've been too rational, perhaps shaped by previous experience.

Distance, logistics, self-esteem (or lack thereof) tend to be a hindrance. There are times where I believe it would not be a bad thing to let my heart take the wheel for a while.

Sounds like a fitting barometer. Thank you for the insight. I will strive for that balance myself in any future relationships.

I am stupid...I am one to jump right in with both feet.

But I have realized I can't do that anymore...
There is nothing stupid about what you did, Ken

Love is not about being cautious and moving along with calculations. It is about opening your heart (at the risk of being vulnerable) and speaking from your heart. I think you did the latter.

handshake cheers
