Forgive me if my words come out clumsily. This is not my thing, placing my feelings unguarded in the open. Yet, here I am lumbering at this keyboard, unafraid to play the role of the dolt. A love that is unrequited is no major catastrophe; lovers don't really need to "give and take" for once one gives one should not expect anything in return.

You should know that where Heaven meets Earth, I find you. I admire the way that you express yourself with such grace, such verve. When I see your images on this screen, I can easily imagine myself holding you in my arms and heart.

It may be that all that you dream of, all that you are looking for is knocking on your door. These days many of the paths we choose are determined by the tick of the clock. The things that could have been, or still may yet be often lie with circumstance; and with them I plea....Answer! Love was, and is, and continues on, even after our bodies are gone.

A beautiful piece of literature (sp?) but i always tend to stick to the something like this:

"I'm awake, it was a half bad dream, i was awake too long my whole life it seemed, then someone started digging me up and turned my headstone in to dust. The sun was swallowed by the trees, the night was here for good. You pulled my hair, picked my head up, you put oxygen into my blood. You walked me through the gates like we were visitors for the day. You laid me down in the back seat and you drove till i woke up to hear you say............................. we are home!!!!"

Or a simple Hi, how are you could suffice.wave

"A love that is unrequited is no major catastrophe; lovers don't really need to "give and take" for once one gives one should not expect anything in return." Where were U with this 16 months ago? If I had read something like this earlier I would still have the love of my life today. Thank U. I wil never make this mistake again.

To express caring and love to another is never "being a dolt" ...... it takes strength and courage because we have opened our hearts and left ourselves vulnerable.

Hopefully you'll get the answer you desire .......... and if not, it was meant to have wings and the freedom to choose to gently touch your life for just a moment in time.

Awww you're so sentimental!

Haven't seen you in a while.

I was playing the truth or dare game, "i dare you to write a love poem to someone in these forums tonight.... please put in forums"

This is the result. I imagined my ideal woman, made easy by some here that seem ideal. Then I started to write, "everybody plays the fool" came to mind, so I just recreated the cliché.

I do agree with you langley, it's just that sometimes guys try to be smooth, but instead we are cheesy. For this reason I asked for forgiveness ahead of time, an admission of the risk of opening the heart.

A sentimental fool at best .... you have me pegged.

As for the woman who'll one day be the recipient of such love and devotion ....... well that will definitely be a lucky girl!!
