What is your worst fear in love??

But surely, we only fail when we give up on love?

By virtue of the fact we are dealing with other people, there is always the possibility of problems...ups and downs etc.

But the true test of love is in the ability to keep wanting to give purely...with selfless motivations.

Idealistic I know, but ideals can be quite useful.

There you go with that idealistic crap!!!

Are you telling me now to go ahead and let my heart have free reign???

NOW I AM CONFUSED....

IMO... yes - but only if you're willing to risk having it ripped to shreds.

Cliffs and barbed wire be damned... with the right partner, it IS worth it. With the wrong one, not even close.

I have everything in life that I could need right now. I am blessed in many ways. I am willing and able to afford the risk of barbed wire and cliffs for the one thing i desire most.

I am content to be alone...but content is not what I desire.

Hi Detente,
I agree with you on your statement "But the true test of love is in the ability to keep wanting to give purely...with selfless motivations."

You need a certain state of "Love" for this. Idealistically it's true.wink

Then I would say, you won't be truly happy until you give your heart free reign.

my worst fear is not actually getting hurt cause you can always revange= burn the house.

what's worse is when someone does really not know what takes to make a relationship happy! If you say it's relative, i don't understand why can someone not TRY to be romantic and surrender with what's really going on with her/his heart- love!
Basicaly, the worst of love is ending it when there was so much great potential in it!
I'm a devoted personblushing
