I gotta agree with you there... fear of rejection has been (and continues to be) my biggest barrier. In answering this question I had presumed this barrier had been overcome.

I thought the saying was, whatever DOESN'T kill you.

I don't know about "makes you stronger." I've found "whatever doesn't kill you leaves you scarred for life" to be far more true.

That is a matter of preference. For me, a taste of honey is 100 times worse than none at all. Ignorance truly is bliss. You can't miss something you never had.
