When I travel to Vegas with my USA buddies... they usually gamble.. and I *Do* stuff...

I meet them for breakfast, then I go off and do whatever ever I have planned.. I leap on the buses, monorails,taxis and go off exploring.. I go for lunch on my own, exhibitions, shows etc. Sightseeing. (indoor sky diving haha).. helicopter flights (I do those every year- coz im sad like that haha)

And if they are gambling in the evening, I do the the same thing.. I go to bars on my own, sample the cocktails go watch a band.. Up the Paris tower.. or (as I usually do at night) spend most of the evening watching the water shows at the Bellagio, cramming frozen margaritas down my neck.

I talk to anyone and everyone.. so I never feel lonely, I've met and stayed in touch with some lovely people that way.

And... my friends often don't see me for 12hrs at a time.. I roll back tot he hotel .. whenever.

On the way home they always ask me about all the things I did.. when mostly they only saw the inside of the casinos.

They are mostly all couples.

I don't like it at all.
We were married happily for 20 years and I miss every day of it.
We had grown so close that we needed each others company to be happy.
My husband died - almost 5 years ago.
I cannot adjust to being single...and don't enjoy my life like this.

U seem to be saying u have never for one moment missed the presence of a special companionship? If u have'nt may u take your bath naked in the bathroom.

it must be a lot harder when you lose someone and there was nothing wrong between you.

Coming from a happy relationship and losing your spouse, I could understand that....

No .. I don't miss the company.. I like being single, I can do my own thing whenever I want too.

Thats when I always wish I wasn't on my own. But one day I will make that happen.

I don't neeed someone. I just 'want' them.

I am quite happy being single actually.

Not having to answer to anyone else, and able to have fun whenever I want!

It was something I needed to say..there were so many single people living on their own happily ...so I missed those of us who are battling along on their own ..wishing to find happiness again.

Thank you!..its all the happy moments I miss ..the laughter we had, the witty exchange of nonsenses which were part of our days..there was a lot of detail in our shared life which made it so happy.
As I wrote previously ..I made it to CS ..so there is a beginning
