To forgive is again to forget; but only it takes guts to do it that way....

Forgiveness for me.

To forget is impossible...we just try to do our best to put it to the back of our minds so as not to allow it to influence our best intentions.wine

I think forgiveness is the most important.. BUT... if you can't 'Forget' ... then your relationship is damaged.

Often we see people forgive but continue to complaint about the person. Gossip and spout venom .

Is that forgiveness then ?

I guess the trick is to have less frequent remembrances.

Some people are not willing to try to remember less often...we can't really totally forget something that caused us pain, but we can choose to stop bringing it to the forefront all the time.

Sometimes, though, we must accept that we may never get beyond that thing that hurt us and must, consequently, move on. Start anew.

Helloo Tiffanie wave

I agree, it would depend on what it was.

I have a memory like and elephant for stuff that hurts me tho, I'm not brilliant at the forgetting part. laugh

Simple Answer: Dont forgive them and just forget them. Easy-peesy lemon squeezy.

If someone has put you in the situation to an extent where you have to make such an important choice between the two, the relationship is potentially over. Its just one simple push away from destruction.
I suppose if what happened was serious like cheating, i would finish it and not forgive them. Feck themwave
