There have been time that I've been pretty surprised at the level of knowledge of what goes on in this world on this site... so it got me thinking what sources do people use for information...

Papers? Which ones?

TV? What channels?

Internet? What sites? (I know, no urls, but I'm sure the name would do)

Toronto Sun and google news....Oh and CNN...

Oddly enough, it doesn't have anything to do w/size, does it.

In the a.m. I listen to Abdul in the morning. A local Muslim talk show host.

Evenings for my left wing view: NBC or MSNBC
Evenings for my right wing view: Fox News

For my Libertarian views: Neal Boortz (radio)


Maybe if Fox isn't "fair and balanced," I am.

and on-line loads of places.. but I usually start with Google news to see what the main headlines are.

Local news and NBC News

Local, ABC Nightly News, CNN, Leo.

All the major news-wire services, BBC World News Sevice, various newspaper and magzine services around the world , all via the internet and some highly specialized news and Intelligence websites of some Defence Agencies while at work. While at home: rumour mill sites of various groups. Some times for up to half a day or night depending what is going on...or not going on. Many contacts also keep me posted on certain topics and their souces. Clipping services are a great source of that as well as for amusement but I get good rates. Rarely anything from TV, no US "News" sources other than the on line Pentagon/ Defense Department bulletins which I've used since the 70's in 2-4 page publications, now all on line, along with still a few old contacts in Wash.DC %)

YaHoo, FOX, CNN, Speed Channel, local paper, and Paws Daily...

If I keep up with the news at all, I get it from the paper - Akron Beacon Journal.

Internet..Times of India, Al-Jazeera, Der Speigel, AOL and Yahoo

T.V. anything but Fox news, but mostly CNN

I never listen to the radio. I used to listen to public radio, but they are even too liberal for me.

National Public Radio: A great sedative too~~~

I don't care much for NEW,just the weather,I work outdoors alot.
