I know what you mean I quit several years ago.. Was the hardest thing I ever did in my life, was tempted to start back a few times but the memory of how hard it was to quit snuffed that idea really fast..

ermm .. if i may suggest .. this kind of drastic cut down on a long term addiction to smoke can have annoying withdrawals of nicotine.

Maybe one should cut down slowly and then eventually stop.

Suddenly stopping will be difficult to adhere to.

On this I will say cutting down to quit doesn’t work, there are plenty of aids out there to help, but along with the addiction to nicotine, you have mental addictions as well, the repetitive motion of raising the cigarette to your lips, it helped pass the time when you were bored ect.
Everyday she stays off it gets easier... Just stay away from bars
