Well I dont want to shock you but many moral philosophers would not agree with you - we are not all of equal worth - Rawls - the greatest political philosopher on justice of the 20 century agrues over the moral sit of who to save in situations where all cannot be saved and argues that some should be saved before others because the worth in society is greater for instance if one had to chose between the unborn child and the mother and both cannot be saved then it is argued that the mother is saved becuase her worth is greater and more lives depend on her ...or in a situation where all humanity were to die except for a few then more woman would have to be saved in order to repop the world lately I was reading an article in the spectator that stated that from official statistics in hospitals in Britian and the USA more women are saved than men in ICU -- and it was argued that the reason for this is that more resources are invested in saving woman of a certain age because they are more needed ..in the family for procreation etc.........

These are not my ideas......and I AM NOT ANTI MALE LOL... I am just quoting received information I dont know what you gys think of it ??? would be interesting to hear your views
no worries i am not shocked by your statement, nor do i care who agrees with me and who does not. I will not give any one person more value then another...thats just me tho. However, I do tend to give animal, birds, and slimmy creatures less value then humans...back to the elephant and ant...it was a fun question, I dont know the answer and I dont want to analyze it anymore..i will wait for raavana's justification. dancing banana dancing banana dancing banana

"It was a boring Sunday afternoon in the jungle so the Elephants decided to challenge the Ants to a game of soccer. The game was going well with the Elephants beating the Ants ten goals to nil, when the Ants gained posession.
The Ants' star player was dribbling the ball towards the Elephants' goal when the Elephants' left back came lumbering towards him. The elephant trod on the little ant, killing him instantly.
The referee stopped the game. "What the hell do you think you're doing? Do you call that sportsmanship, killing another player?"
The elephant replied, "Well, I didn't mean to kill him -- I was just trying to trip him up"

sorry thats all i got...rolling on the floor laughing

I once gave peanuts to an elephant and he gave me a kiss. Then he rested his trunk on my baldy head for a few minutes.

Leave the elephant alone.

good evening raavana,

wave

good evening to all others...

wave wave wave

it´s typical for you, this kind of question, I know you in this way...conversing

you like it to provake...handshake

up to your question...

The answer depends on the religion you have, so in your religion, the Hinuism, it is a sin, it doesn´t matter, which kind of animal it is, you beleave in rebirth...buddism too...

I know of a special kind of Hinduism, they don´t wear any kind of animal products, they don´t cook in fear of killing little animals and even they wear masks that they don´t inhale an insect...

Generally you must say it´s a bigger sin, but not in the religion way, but in the morally way, to kill an elephant crying instead of an ant...because we have to save this wonderful animals against extinction...

hug

PS.

damned Bill Gates, he must be against...just when I have been finished, I have been offline...so it´s my second comment...and ...

frustrated frustrated

dang it....

cuz killing is wrong regardless, no the intent of it...

to kill an elephant has to be done with strong intent, a desire to takes its life...it is done on purpose

to kill an ant maybe done without reason or knowledge, as they are too small to see and i step on them sometimes...it is done on accident

thats it raavana...
