For me it is RESPECT & HONESTY & RESPONSIBILITY. There must be a physical attraction, simular personalities and humor, humor, humor. Laughing is good for the soul. A man that smells really good is a major turn on for me.

Hey Southern Heat:

Try picking up men in front of the dentist's office! Plenty of them should be ready and able to drool over you!

Ok, tacky... sorry. Just jokin'

(back to falsetto voice from under kerchief-covered head again....)

Ooooooo... I just want a big strong man who treats me right... takes care of me... and let's me have tons and tons of credit cards to use at the Mall whenever I feel down!

Well, now maybe I understand why M*** gets girls from 18 to 80. But a WHOLE LOT of us ain't those girls. (Check the eddicated English here.) And ll, I love you hon, use spell check, okay?

What do women want? Ask a woman. And don't lump them in groups, no matter how lumpy they get with age. You might perhaps ask - "What do YOU want, as a woman?"

Or - "What do You want from a man?" "In a man?"
Whatever.

Not that I'm trying to be critical, but I see a lot of underage (or undereducated) group psychoanalysis going on in these forums lately.

You guys and gals are gonna bring out the debator in me!

Lay some more Freudian slips on me. If you're not careful, you might prove the "experts" wrong.

Im a man who can answer this question.
A woman wants honor, respect, loyalty, faithfulness and someone who puts her first.
A woman wants, needs and has to know that she is an importent part of her mans life. And that he truly cares for her unconditionaly.
I think that is fair and a just request.......Ron

hmmmm. I was in a mood that day, wasn't I?

Thank you, Ron. I reckon some wants are pretty universal, and you just named them.

We want the same things you guys want.

I'm a guy who's asked that question for along time. I've come to realize there are no absolute answers. You ask the question because you want an honest interaction with someone and you feel you're not getting it. At least thats when I asked that question, and I have learned that I'll feel better not worrying about it, knowing there is no one right answer what it really comes down to is whether or not you click w/ her. If you only seem to click w/ women who bring you trouble, you might want to get help. At least you'll feel better. This is just my experience. Different people are exactly that, different.

Women want to be spoiled and treated with respect and know that they are truly loved. We love to be pampered and most of us are very cuddly with the right man.We want our man to make us feel special and most of all we all would love to have a gentleman.

Would you believe, men want and need the same thing(s) women want? Men like affection, love and attention too! May not sound macho, but it's from the heart here!

This is what I think they sould want:

I am looking for a Friend, definately not ruling out romance. I would just like to find someone who will tell the truth. So many lies and deception in relationships these days. I would like a Friend who can tell me the truth, even if I don't like hearing it!! I can deal with anything as long as it is not lies. When the lies begin the trust is destroyed and so is the relationship. I love good sex, just being honest!!LOL!!! That kind of fire, I believe should go on forever. I am looking for someone who believes the fire in a relationship should never die! Also, a friend that will be there through thick and thin. I'm not intersted in sleeping with a bunch of women, that just isn't my style. I would like to find a female best friend for the rest of my life. Once the relationship moves into the romance phase, I strongly believe in a monogamous relationship. I do believe your out there some where, and soon we will find each other!!!!! Rhythmatist

I feel the same way Rhythmatist. I am looking for a guy that can tell the truth and be a one woman man. I guess you could say that I am an old fashioned southern girl in many ways. NO I dont want some one to pay my bills for me, I just want some one I can count on to be there when I need him and I can be there for. Some one whos brain is about the shoulders not below the waist if you know what I mean. I am so tired of the guys that act like they are honest and trustworthy and end up being skirt chasing lieing jerks.

Thanks Jerry, women need to know there are good guys out there!! Maybe not too many!! But ladies there are plenty of you who need to be honest with yourselves. It isn't only guys that are to blame, right on Jerry!!

I agree guys and its not only the women who are to blame either. Both sexes are equally at fault women look at a guy and look for a nice body a cute face, some look at his hair or the lack of. The problem with society is that it has progamed people to accept what is popular belief about what is beautiful and too many people listen to that instead of thier hearts. That perhaps is why there are so many sad lonely people in the world. I for one feel that you should not judge someone unless you yourself are perfect.
