I was trying to get a new pic..a more serious one. My daughter decided she wanted to help me.
she wasnt so much for me not smiling, cuz thats what you do for pictures..::duh:: was the look on her face when i tried my simple reasoning.
To be an arse she turned and mooned me (her cute lil 9 yr old butt in my face) and we couldnt stop laughing...
so thats the life of this pic...i see it and i think of her grinning ear to ear......LOL
rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing it takes a child to point out the simple things in life

My daughter had been wanting me to get on a dating site, so I did the profile and said I need a picture. I curled my hair, threw on some makeup and put on that pink sweater. I was rushing something fierce because it was about to get dark and we wanted to take a walk. We were laughing like crazy. She's a funny kid.

We went to the tree in the back of the back yard and I was laughing at my daughter with the camera when she got that pic.
That was at the end of November, early December somewhere around there, so they are recent.

I'll post another one in a minute Eupho with another story.

Good thread, Eupho.

Oo cool.. thumbs up

My main pic was taken about 3/4 months ago in Venice. I am on the balcony of our hotel and that is the Adriatic behind me, it was approaching sunset and we were just getting ready for a fab night out on the town!!

I think the smile may say it all....... I am always my most content and carefree when I am in Italy!!

The second one is at home after doing lots of grubby jobs around the house and garden, hence looking like something the cat dragged in. The third one was just a mellow moment at home.

Bloody good thread, Eupho!!
Only because I love nosing at peoples pics.. even in their homes.. even people I don't know.. laugh

~~~this photo was taken in September. My daughter and I were bored so we decided to go and attempt to play tennis. Now I'll admit that I'm a bad player but she's reallllllllllllllyyyy bad, so I took the camera along to capture her......ummmm playing the game. Instead she rushed over to grab the camera to get a shot of me air guitaring (because I was waiting for her to serve the ball) she didn't get the shot (camera was off) but she did take this one of me LMAO at her.
haha I like that piccy.. tho I love your upside down one applause
I'm leaning on a motorcycle that was, if memory serves, mostly back together at that time. When life gets to me I go to the garage and place my focus elsewhere (or futz around here). Most of the time, it works. Not the best pic of me (none of them are), but at the same time, it's a good look at who I am. cool
Okay, Eupho. I said I'd do another one. So I've changed the pick on my profile.
This one in the blue sweater was taken after 30 hours of no sleep.
Let me tell you what led to this pic.
I'd had a normal day the day before Christmas Eve, finishing some shopping, had an extra kid at the house, my OKid - other kid (I'm his OMom) He's my daughters best friend.
That night, I was on CS, played t/d half the night, then was on the phone with a friend from CS until about 7am. By 6am I had decided it was too late to go to sleep so we stayed on the phone until I absolutely had to go.
Got the kids up and everyone showered. I didn't have time to do my hair, so I put it up. Took the extra kid home on the way to visit my dad in Alabama - about a 2 1/2 hour drive from here.
Went to my Dad's, we went out to lunch, had a nice visit. Then we had friends in that town from SC that we went to visit. Had a great visit with them. They spoiled my daughter rotten as usual. They were havign a party that night, but I was getting sleepy and still had to drive home. They wanted to get some pictures, so we did. At that point I had been up for 30 hours. My daughter is also in the pics but I don't put hers online.
We drove home, I got online for a while, then back on the phone til 5am, did the Santa thing and went to bed. Total 40 hours.
