Vacation last Sept. with my family. The outer banks North Carolina... we were at some local history museum my mom wanted to visit. They had a duck boat with a shotgun that you could shoot at lit up fake ducks overhead all the nieces and nephews wanted a go so my dad and I started playing checkers against each other at some "store" display they had set up. They were cool wood checkers I remember that much I am pretty sure I lost too

I was just about to drive my '66 109 Land Rover into the Cardinal river up in the Rockies and my friend Dale asked me if I had any last words.
I think he was scared! We made it through alright and not too much water inside the truck.

I was near the top of the mountain. It was starting to get dark and I was messing with different settings on my camera to use with the flash. Somehow this one came out with the erie blue and black background. There were several others that came out similar, but this one stood out the best.

Is one of the most recent ones I had, was at the beach with my granddaughters. It was either this one.............or the one with one hell of a shiner I got from playing on the trampoline with my granddaughter and I caught her head right in the eye! Man what a shiner I had!!

This is not Bodie being dressed up to look silly.
It was a very hot day on the beach, he sometimes
wears a headscarf and shades to protect his ears
and eyes.
Fortunately his has no issues with being covered
like this, in fact he seems to quite enjoy the
attention he gets.

This pic I have posted as my first was taken earlier last year (2007) before I was to head out to meet the fellow I was in a relationship with..... so for fun I posted it.

It seems to attract trolls, but heck, at least it seems to get abit of attention, lol.

My best friend Paul came over to my house, cut my hair, styled it, did my makeup and took the picture.

I was tired, it was 2am, and I was testing the webcam. It came out decent so I kept it.

I went to bed at midnight the night before, woke up at 3 am, loaded my friends car with my surfing & hiking gear. 1.5 hr drive southwest.....
Hiked out in the dark with 30lbs in my pack, surfboard under my arm at 5am. Hiked cobblestone/shale/rock-reef/wading for several miles along the beach. Made our destination by 8am. Surfed until 3pm in the most beautiful setting available in California. Made it back to the car just after 6pm. Drove home in euphoric adrenaline bath waning slowly. Cleaned up my gear/surf equipment, took the photo one of 10 in the sequence. Loaded up on protein, showered, checked out my video footage of the day, went to bed. The story of my profile photo, thats what I look like after a long day of adventure and sun. Enough info for you?
