I know!!! don't remind me blues.. I know its all commercial shite..but it would be nice to get a cheesy soppy card some day...blues.. I have gotten flowers etc in the past and all sorts of lovely things.. but I would love to wake up and run down to my post box an find a card.. blues

For the last two years, I have more-or-less tried to avoid it (well, I did get out of bed and all).

This year, who knows? Perhaps something good will happen.

I usually fire off a heap of cards to people I think they will make their day. (anonymously of course) haha

I even used to send one to my 92yr grandad.. and one to his 90 yr old neighbour giggle devil

I just get into the spirit by sending them instead.. laugh Like Valentines 'Santa' haha

It's nice to think they will make someone's day.. everyone would (secretly even) love to get an anonymous card on Valentines Day...

Why is Valentine's Day such a big deal? It seems a lot of people seem to forget that there are 364 (or 365, depending on the year, of course) other days of the year in which to demonstrate their love/affection/stalker-like intentions for their better half/crush/secret object of desire.
