Just curious here. I actually had an old ex fill me in on something that seemed a little odd to me. She told me that a lot of girls, some already mothers their selves...some not yet, have a jealousy problem if they are dating a guy who already has kids. Because of "knowing that he had to have had sex with another woman" To me that seems a little bit crazy considering the fact that most guys by the time they are my age have slept with at least 1 woman in their lives. Can I get some feedback on this. Is she just a nut or is there some truth to this?
It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever, but I believe that there probably ARE some young women who have that pang of jealousy...not that I support it, but young women are often extremely insecure and this is really an immature emotion, as well. But I remember my younger years and heard some of my friends (way back when) express a bit of jealousy along those lines. Usually, however, it wasn't the obvious sexual aspect, but often it was a deeper fear that there would always be a closer and unbreakable bond between the man and the mother of his child, and this can be difficult for an insecure woman to deal with.
