You have to think of potential surnames if your daughter marries too. Imagine if you named her Leyla Leigh and she married a King or Leyla Laura and she married a Norder!

I like Leyla, it's Hebrew or Arabic in origin, means dark-haired beauty, which is pretty cool, and it's not in the top 100, which means there probably won't be 4 Leylas in her kindergarten class.

Look for a middle name with one or three syllables , depending on how long your last name is, and perferably from the same or similar origin. And please no L's, sorry, it does kinda sound like a stripper name. Remember, your main job in life is to keep her off the pole.
