I like Leyla, it's Hebrew or Arabic in origin, means dark-haired beauty, which is pretty cool, and it's not in the top 100, which means there probably won't be 4 Leylas in her kindergarten class.

Look for a middle name with one or three syllables , depending on how long your last name is, and perferably from the same or similar origin. And please no L's, sorry, it does kinda sound like a stripper name. Remember, your main job in life is to keep her off the pole.

Where did you find the middle name generator? My daughter is expecting, I love the first name she picked, Ashlyn, but I'm still looking for a middle name. She picked Beth but I'm not real crazy about it, even though I suggested it.

If I may make a suggestion - I wouldn't give your child a name that some people may not know how to pronounce (especially in today's "global village"), nor any traditional names intentionally misspelled... That's just my opinion though, it may seem cool to others. I just imagine that kid constantly having to correct the way people pronounce it, always having to literally spell her name out to everyone, or say "no, no, it's Brittni, not Brittany...."

I found that after I asked, I don't know how you're supposed to find just the middle name though.

Lyla Lei (born January 4, 1983) is a former American pornographic actress born and raised in Long Beach, California.

Lei was educated at John Adams High school with a high school diploma and then Brooks college. She has worked as a Medical Assistant. After being discovered by T.T. Boy, Lyla made her debut late in 2002, appearing in several Asian themed films. She frequently performs anal sex in her films and she says her favorite sex position is "doggy style".[1]

In 2003, Lyla Lei starred in Yellowcaust: A Patriot Act, which was one of the first American made, hardcore pornographic films starring an Asian American woman with an Asian American man.[citation needed]

In 2006, she appeared as one of the 5 dates on a lesbian-themed episode of the MTV show Next. Although she lasted more than 12 minutes, she was 'Next'-ed by a girl. They listed her career as a "Professional Go-Cart Racer", nothing to do with adult industry work, although she was very friendly with her lesbian dating "competitors" on the TV show's tour bus.[citation needed]

On September 17, 2007 Lei announced that she would no longer be performing anal scenes due to medical reasons.[2]

On October 23, 2007, through a post on her website under the name of "Terri now", Lyla announced that she cease participating in any form of adult films, stating that "the person known as Lyla Lei is gone".

Its all ruined for me now after this.

That's copypasted from wikipedia! I know 'em when I see 'em. peace

Well lena, with 6 billion people in the world, and let's pretend 2 billion are deciding baby names at any one moment, that means there are 1 billion different babies getting named (per year? Who knows how fast the population is recycled)

There's almost no chance that you could pick an entirely unique name.

And if 1 billion babies are actually born each year, then imagine how many babies have been born between now and 1983. Just theoretically speaking, all of this. But there has to be a couple thousand leylas and at least a dozen leyla leis. So one of them turned out as a porn star. Pick a different name; maybe you won't be so lucky this timegrin

you could start a thread where you ask people to contribute baby names....hmmm

Very true. I am of scandinavian origin, and my real name had a K in it, but it is common to spell that with a C here in the PC United States. Took me 5 years to finally teach my teachers. My brother took even longer, people still misspell his name. Americans are so used to the "c"

Think about it: I bet you can't (w/o using a dictionary) think of 5 words in english starting with K in less than an hour.

That's a challenge.head banger dancing banana

Sorry, honey. I love Leyla, but that is stripper material.

Little advise.

When I was pregnant, I sat for 2 hours one day with my 11yo niece and 9yo nephew. We went through baby name books together. They told me all of the names that would get picked on and what other kids would say. We had so much fun. It's one of the most special memories of my pregnancy.

I liked the name Emily and Matt and Sara and I all liked the name Taylor. Her middle name is Taylor.

That nephew died 3 years ago at the age of 19. So the fact that he helped me name my daughter is priceless to me.

They wouldn't have thought of something as being a stripper name, but they narrowed my choices a lot.

waitaminute! Leyla Rei! Doesn't Rei mean "king," or "god," in latin or some other language? Doesn't that sound cool!? 'Leyla Rei,' makes you think of the words omnipotent, omniscient, striking, wonderful, upon high, (imagine a sunrise over a mountaintop), queenly, goddess, divine, ethereal, ect?

Doesn't that sound good? Can somebody look up "Rei" to see what that would mean as a baby name?

thumbs up thumbs up angel
