What should a woman wear for a first date?

I would wear kind of a casual dress with a cute pair of tall boots, or an outfit that says I am sophisticated, but practical. I would wear enough make up and to my hair as to say that I put in some effort but not so much that he might think I am high maintenance. Sexy underwear and bra...Cause it's the secret little things that can make you feel sexy. (This can be reflected/seen in your actions through out the date!)

Yep...that's what I would do.
I like the underwear idea wendy! It will give me a swagger, and an inner confidence!!

Just hope he doesn't read this!

Exactly!!...well said.....the last woman I fell in love with, was dressed in jeans and a t-shirt....it's not what you wear, it's how you wear it....( sexy underwear helps tho...)

My biggest fear on a 'first date' is never that we would have nothing to talk about..

My problem is usually that (in FEAR!)... I talk NON STOP and look like a jibbering fool.. laugh

I am trying to be a good girl this time! Besides, the last restaurant I went into naked didnt like it. I am banned from Mcdonalds worldwide!!

I've had some first dates where I've gone straight from work...so either slacks or a skirt. I've had some first dates that have been later in the evening, so I've had a chance to change into jeans & top...and then there've been some first dates where I've been working on the house & I've gone exactly the way I am with the warning that I won't be making a good first impression...lol But usually it's jeans for a first date since I never know where I'm going....and here in Redding people don't really dress up that much.
