timeshifter......you won't know for sure until you try.........start with innocent emails that reveal nothing of your real name/address/phone or anything that could lead her to find these things out.....once you trust her then you can reveal. or do like a friend of mine......find out her information then run checks on her to find out if she is being honest or not. sounds to me tho that you're too skittish to try the online thing and maybe you need to wait a while yet to try this but hey all this is just my opinion

one other thing,timeshifter pointed out that emails are a waste until or unless you know,so true and I agree,time is important to us,even IF it is to simply be here or what have you it is our time so emails are good but unless you know it is the person behind the pic? they have no substance,not being harsh just being real folks,check this out,for instance we have 27000 days from the time we are born until we die that is an approximation but close and that does not include incidents of life,ie,cancer,wrecks,murder etc.so time is important because it is yours.
