Its strange. Since the online-community explosion in the early part of this century, child abduction and murder has since gone through the roof. It has escalated far too highly given previous standards. The socialising sites are contributing to this problem. I am not running down the good people. i think we all know they are out there........and i think that we are all very cautious of who we trust and how.......and yes i think sometimes these people slip through the cracks.........but they are always found out in the end!

standards have gone through the roof not only because of the on-line community, but also because the problem has come out of the shadows more........people are less afraid to speak of the evil in the real world and we are finding out more and more about crimes that have happened.

as you stated in your post.......You guys will have to be here for them to be here.............you're right.......and it's like someone else said in a previous post(sorry poster i forgot which one please forgive me) you have to take the good with the bad. there are "bad" people on here right along with the "good" you just have to learn to weed them out. but like yet another poster said(again my apologies to poster) this is exactly the same as real life.................when you're out meeting people you don't know which one of them may be a pedophile or child pornographer or molester.......you have to figure that out later. life is one big chance when dealing with other people as you only have control over yourself. with your fear of online sites, you may need to stay within the real world..........but then again you will have the same kinds of questions/problems.........so what does that leave you? to be a hermit for the rest of your life?
