today I paid $3.31/gallon, and to fill the tank was $65.00

here its 1.19 a litre so thats about 4.80 a litre which is about 9.40 US a gallon

and clever me i drive a frggin volvo

Please excuse my ignorance....

Those in the UK that are paying like $8 - $9 a gallon,

Do your wages convert over to more also?

Because here, minimum wage is $7. So 1 gallon of gasoline would cost more than what a lot of people earn in an hour's work.

I was just curious if the hourly wage there converts over to more as well.

hiya there

min wage here is 5.35 pounds an hour

however our cost of living here is very high compared to the states

sales tax which we call vat is 17.5 percent


lol i rem the day I moved from ohio to md I filled up at meijers for 77cents a gallon and that was 1999
