1. DO NOT EXPECT YOUR PARAMEDIC TO SHARE YOUR DISCOMFORT.

Involvement with the patient's suffering might cause him to lose valuable scientific objectivity.

2. BE CHEERFUL AT ALL TIMES.

Your Paramedic leads a busy and trying life and requires all the gentleness and reassurance he can get.

3. TRY TO SUFFER FROM THE DISEASE FOR WHICH YOU ARE BEING TREATED.

Remember that your Paramedic has a professional reputation to uphold.

4. DO NOT COMPLAIN IF THE TREATMENT FAILS TO BRING RELIEF.

You must believe that your Paramedic has achieved a deep insight into the true nature of your illness, which transcends any mere permanent disability you may have experienced.

5. NEVER ASK YOUR PARAMEDIC TO EXPLAIN WHAT HE IS DOING OR WHY HE IS DOING IT.

It is presumptuous to assume that such profound matters could be explained in terms that you would understand.

6. SUBMIT TO NOVEL EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT READILY.

Though the invasive procedure may not benefit you directly, the resulting research paper will surely be of widespread interest.

7. PAY YOUR MEDICAL BILLS PROMPTLY AND WILLINGLY.

You should consider it a privilege to contribute, however modestly, to the well-being of Paramedics and other humanitarians.

8. DO NOT SUFFER FROM AILMENTS THAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD.

It is sheer arrogance to contract illnesses that are beyond your means.

9. NEVER REVEAL ANY OF THE SHORTCOMINGS THAT HAVE COME TO LIGHT IN THE COURSE OF TREATMENT BY YOUR PARAMEDIC.

The patient-Paramedic relationship is a privileged one, and you have a sacred duty to protect him from exposure.

10. NEVER DIE WHILE IN YOUR PARAMEDIC'S PRESENCE OR UNDER HIS DIRECT CARE.

This will only cause him needless inconvenience and embarrassment

Hey! What are you? You must be one hell of a JERK OFF to put that garbage out there!!!!!!!!Let me address trhem one by one.
1. No one expects you to share thier discomfort!
2.Explain how anyone can be cheerful when thier lying in the back of an ambulance! They are not going to McDonalds playground!
3.If the ambulance was required I believe that they are suffering from thier desease!
4.One must complain if the treatment did not work. The only way to get proper treatment is through communication!
5.Everyone has the right to ask what the paramedic is doing! Besr patient is an informed patient.
6.Shit! You must really be out your mind to suggest that garbage. Let's see if you would READILY SUBMIT TO EXPERIMENTAL TREATMENT if a side effect was getting a possible extra asshole on your forhead! No one wants to be a Guinea Pig!
7.Hey. That is automatic and expected. But you must remember that some insurance companies take thier time paying. And of course you have some that do not have the funds to pay. Lets hope that when you retire that you do not have any worries. Alot of elderly and disabled actuall have a hard time just getting their meds. And these are people with insurane!
8.Shit!! YOU ARE AN ASSHOLE!!!!!!!!!!!No one has a plan about what to get sick from. Though everyone must take care of their health.
9.Reveal them!!!!!!!!!! All patients have a right and a responsibilty to do so!!!!!!
10.Just proves that you need to get a different job!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!


IF THIS WAS YOUR IDEA OF A JOKE, VERY BAD TASTE!!!!!!!! REMEMBER THAT EVERYONE MUST DEAL WITH YOU GUYS AT LEAST ONCE IN THEIR LIVES.

PRMANK - Get a grip. We all need a laugh from time to time. This wasn't at anyones expense. I have the highest respect for these people, I watched them work their asses off trying to save my mothers life last year and I ccertainly don't blame them that she didn't make it.

Everyone in every occupation needs to let loose and cut up and have fun.

ESPECIALLY PEOPLE WITH SUCH IMPORTANT AND STRESSFUL JOBS.

Ive been on both sides of the fence.I as,I hope FireFighter is or was,did the best job I could to save lives working in a hospital.I did all I could to care and comfort.Many times there is no lunch or no break,or having to come in early,or working every Christmas,etc.Medical and Nursing Proffessionals work hard and are under pressure often,but we like what we do.We help people.A little joking is needed at times to keep one's sanity.As a patant I can still laugh.IT"S A JOKE.rolling on the floor laughing rolling on the floor laughing laugh laugh grin hug
