I keep reading posts on the pros and cons of IM. A hundred years ago people used the teletype. Many still are, it's just a little faster (IM) Why are so many afraid of the telephone ? It adds that extra dimension and can cut through the BS in seconds. If you have an unlistd #, I can understand. If your in the book, anyone can dial your #. Anonymity is a thing of the past. Are we using 21st century technology with a 19th century point of view ? Is it fear. If I gave you my full name, you could Google my complete address and phone # in less than a minute. So there goes

Can you get a plan ? There are manty that offer "all you can talk after 6" for about $20.00 a month. Then there's VONAGE. Paws
