I get queasy because I know all he says is nothing but BS and the shit eating grin he gets when he is signing bills and it ends up benefiting his buddies. I get queasy when he talkes about God and all he does is agaist it...he is a puppet in a position in my eyes.

Yes, but that goes for ALL politicans, love.... pretty much WITHOUT exception!! I have just never known such a high-profile figure to be such a figure of fun, to be frank!!

It clearly doesn't equate to being fit for the job/the best person for the job, etc... does it?? I don't think that is the criteria that needs to be filled.... nepotism, money, contacts, etc..... now that does!!

Its a shame to have to be so cynical but, I'm afraid.... its human nature.....
sigh

This is America a legacy left to us by our forefathers! It is our country ours! but somewhere along the way we lost sight of who it really belongs to. Bush and the government seems to think it is theres to do as they wish they do what they can to proffit off her. If it is our country shouldn't it be the American people who prosper?
I know that at one time we were a country with Balls and integrity. We took on a super power with rocks pitchforks and anything else we could lay hands on! And we won our freedom. We became a true super power one that was respected and looked on with awww!
We became the worlds big brother, keeping bullies from kicking other countries around and taking advantage.
What happend to us? we are now the bully and we call it a police action? What the heck is that? If you need to police any country call Scotland yard I hear they are pretty good. Did the world ask us to be a world police station?
I am proud to be American proud of my country I love my country but come on people we are failing our selves we are failing our forefathers.
We have become whining lazy whimps.
Our country fought 2 revolution on our own soil the first for our freedom from the rule of Great Britian the second against our selves again for freedom! those people built our reputation with there blood.
America is in trouble and the only ones that can save her is his own people. There are to many things that have been happening that should never happen. And Yes I am from NY and I remember 9/11 very well! I remember the fear I remember the tears spilled by us all, I remember the anger we felt. We all wanted revenge. just like anyone who is angered you can't just strike out. Let the smoke clear so you can see clear who did it! Well the smoke has cleard and there is some evidence that our own government did it! I'm mot saying they did but there is enough evidence to cause a doubt. and it would not be the first time our government turned on us for there own agenda's.
The American people need to be united stand up and demand control back for our own country. It is our country the government is only our representitve. We have the right to take a stand against our government, our forefathers fought and died so that we could. we inherrited a great country but did we inherrit the balls as well?
If there was one thing that could have brought more tears to my eyes on 9/11, It was watching on the news all the other countries that cried with us for us. On that day the Queen had the American anthem played in place of theres. That was the day the world had come the closest to seeing world peace. Tell me America if you find one day that 9/11 was a plan by our own government, to anger us enough to let them have the war they wanted all along. What will you do then? Right now we are not very respected and we have no right to ask anyone to respect us. We are doing nothing to deserve it.
Ok I am going to post this now. I am sure by tomorrow I will be looking for a new country to live in, because I am sure I must have ticked off my fellow Americans. Are there any countries willing to take in a big mouth rebel American?

The truth is there is so much damage and it has been ignored and let go for so long it would take a mirical to make America what she once was. We have to find something that can get thru to every American to stand united! We have to let our government know that we no longer will allow them to ignore us and do what they want. Maybe we should go back in history and ask the founders what to do. I know there not going to speak out and say do this or that. But follow what they did. here is a start The Boston tea party! if every American stoped paying taxes for even a short time or redeirected there taxes to somewhere else, so that it is used for its intended purpose and not to destroy! And how many government officials would want to stay in office if no one was listing to them if no one was paying them a wage?
if 300 men in suits stood on the capitial steps armed with brief cases facing a million or so angerd americans with Arms, do you really think they would stand a chance? If our government is so hot on fighting and war we should band together and give them one!
Our Constatution was written to say that we have the right to over throw any and all government officials when it has become currupt and believe me it is currupt!
It was our good fortune to have our forefathers smart enough to not leave any stone unturned. It was for our protection for the good of our country that they put everyting in writing.
What will it take to get the American people off there butts and take action? and not sit a complain about everything but do nothing!
I for one would like to know all of the truths, I think if we had that we would be so shocked at what we have been allowing to happen.
People quit saying what can we do? dunno and start saying we are going to something

Okay, what I really wanted to say is "what are you doing?"

"What will it take to get the American people off there butts and take action? and not sit a complain about everything but do nothing!"

Isn't that kinda all you're doing? Please correct me if I'm wrong.

No It's not all I am doing, I first like here speak my opinon, and I lnow that doesn't sound like much. But one person can not do it alone. But I have joined protests again groups a to little do do any good.
I have been doing research on different events that should have never taken place.
I have been in contact with people in Iraq (americans) and have seen a few things that and learned things that was not supose to leave Iraq. And I do other things as well. But no I am not just sitting here complaining. But what can a handful of people do. It take a mirical to bring the American people together truely wanting to do something.
But if that Mirical ever happens and this country does join together look for me in the front lines! but its pretty typical for prople to sit back in front of there tvs and complain why would Bush do that why woud he say that. Why isn't he pulling our people out of Iraq? Who are they asking the TV? Ask the people who can naswer?
And yes there are people who are asking the right questions and pulling proof together and some how the world one day will have answers. The real question is will it be to late?

"I promise you I will listen to what has been said here, even though I wasn't here." -at the President's Economic Forum in Waco, Texas, Aug. 13, 2002

"I'm the commander -- see, I don't need to explain -- I do not need to explain why I say things. That's the interesting thing about being president." --as quoted in Bob Woodward's Bush at War
