And if so, what typical character & alignment do you play?

I don't play anymore, but used to play all the time.
I typically played clerics and bards, or an occasional wizard. Never played many fighters.
And my alignment was generally lawful good or neutral good, and a few times chaotic neutral.

I miss those days when my friends and I sat around in our nerdy little heaven eating too many doritoes and staying up too late.

Yes... played it for years.. but sadly haven't been able to for a very long time..moping

Hmmm.....looks like there's not too many D&D or ex-D&D players on CS.

I've been a DM more often than I've been a PC (I miss playing as a PC sigh ).

I'm generally a Paladin, I like getting the pluses of a warrior and getting to do some casting (it's weak casting but it's something).

I've only DM'ed a limited number of times, but found myself constantly inserting NPC's just so I could still feel like a PC.
lol, Is that cheating?

Paladins are awesome. They get an extra XP here and there just for being handsome. ;)

I've never DM'd. I have too much fun being a PC. But....I have had several PC's retired to become NPC's. I've played a couple of Anti-Paladins. One...Dafne...was actually an Anti-Paladin/Magic-User. I can't remember what level Mage she was when she retired, though. She's an old character from over 20 years ago. So....I didn't write down her Mage class in my list of characters on this thread. Okay..enough of my useless and trivial information.

I told my friends about your 'so-called' friends stealing your D&D books from you Mouse. They were shocked. As was I. I've never heard of such a thing. I always thought there was supposed to be some sort of comradery and loyalty amongst fellow D&D players. I guess not.

Seriously every D&D player I've met has been a level headed, decent person. They must be a real bunch of jerks, they need a swift kick in the junk.

I am unconditionally a wizard/thief.

If I can't steal it, I'll fry you with a fireball, and take what I want.

Chaotic Neutral or Neutral Evil has always been my choices of alignment.

I never was too popular with the other players, but the DM's loved me for my ability to add chaos to a campaign...devil cool

DM's loved me 'cause I kept everything in order, other players got didn't like me as much 'cause I had them all do the "right thing."

Yes...most of them. Apparently, not all of them. My friends are like my family. I know that they would never do anything like that to me.

My friends and I share quite a lot of our supplies, utilities, and knowledge all in an effort to help one another become a better PC or DM.

And the other party members didn't try to beat you down? You must have been the DM's favorite.
